Keynote Speaker, Professor Henry Sanchez
Professor Henry Sanchez, is running barefoot from Argentina to Alaska to bring awareness and education about protecting and reforesting our planet.  He is now bringing this eco message to Los Angeles by running barefoot in different marathons and events, including the Los Angeles Marathon on March 18th.
His ultra-marathon began on June 15th, 2008 in Patagonia, Argentina. Running barefoot is symbolic of his connection to mother-earth. To date he has planted more than seven million trees and recycled 2,000 tons of garbage.
Henry was born in Colombia and is a professor of mathematics and environmental engineering.
